How Leawoof Doxies Was Born — And Why You Should Join Us
A little over a year ago, I stumbled across (or maybe was kindly invited to) a dachshund meetup somewhere in North KC. If you know me at all, you know I don’t do things halfway—so naturally, I dove in headfirst. I joined the Facebook groups, followed the pages, liked the posts, and shared every cute event flyer I could find.

I never expected that a photo with my dog would become my go-to professional headshot—but here we are, and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.
Getting my picture taken with my dog started as a fun idea. I wanted to capture our bond—just a personal keepsake. But when I saw the results, I realized something important: this wasn’t just a cute photo. It was me. It felt authentic, warm, and real in a way traditional headshots never did.

You lucky dog! You, whose owners haul you to social outings, outdoor eateries and pet-friendly shops to keep you entertained.
You mini-dachshunds, pugs and corgis with your breed-specific meetups. You Heinz 57 mutts who get your cheeks swabbed for ancestry tests.
“It’s a dog’s life” isn’t always miserable these days. Sometimes it’s pretty good.

If something (or someone) goes missing, you want a straightforward way for it to find its way back home. But here’s the thing: a personalized tag doesn't have to be only functional—it can also be fun.
